The Dearing Studio sets aside an allotted number of scholarships for youth and adult students every month. These range from partial to full scholarships. If you are awarded a scholarship, it is in effect for one month of training (or one full session.) 

The application is simple. Submit a letter (e-mail or “snail mail”) to the Dearing Acting Studio explaining why you want to train at the studio. Please provide a brief history of your acting experiences and your career goals. You may make requests regarding the class you’d like to attend. If that class is full, we will transfer your scholarship to another course section for the month of your scholarship.  The Dearing Acting Studio also offers a “Crown Kids” scholarship, which is awarded to students with ambitions to compete in a pageant. Students will have access to Public speaking courses, Improvisation, and Modeling. These courses are ideal for helping create on-stage performance, poise and confidence. Please submit a letter explaining the pageant you are competing in, as well as your request for specific course topics.
